Problem about waste Disposal in Rural ares of Pakistan
Nowadays Pakistan is facing a lot of environmental issues mainly caused by humans. The human effect can be seen in different ways. Many environmental problems like global warming, air pollution, waste disposal, water pollution, climate change and many more are affecting every living and non-living thing on the earth.
Here my main concern is about waste disposal.I think it is a main problem in our society. It may cause severe disease risks.The rural areas of the Federal Capital do not have a proper mechanism in place to dispose off the garbage from the area. Despite claims, the authority concerned had failed to launch any project for garbage disposal in the underdeveloped areas.
For the long time locals had been disposing off garbage on self-help basis in empty plots where it kept on piling up, and as a result had made the residents vulnerable to diseases and pollution related ailments. After some time, the entire garbage stack had to be burnt to make room for more garbage.
While talking to agencies, residents of the rural area expressed concern over the situation and laziness of the authorities. They said that the administration had not placed garbage drums or identified any points from where the garbage could be collected. They said that they were left without any other option which had obliged them to use the hollow plots.
We always try for the betterment of our mother earth. We overcome this problem by reducing the waste disposal. As we know our activities are not in favor to protect our homeland but we will also try to save our environment. Because waste disposal leads to climatic change and environmental pollution.it not only effect human health but also effect the environment
Waste disposal cause air pollution,water pollution, land pollution. land pollution pollutes our environment and destroy the beauty of our land.Land pollution has many impact in the form of air pollution and soil pollution. Due to land pollution several diseases occur like kidney diseases, liver,malaria, hepatitis and many others due to poor clean environment in our surroundings.it can also Cause the water pollution. Garbage on streets and roads spreads with the wind and airborne waste material. It also degrades air quality and when this airborne waste enters surface water, it pollutes the water.
Solutions:
1: we can overcome by reducing the amount of waste that we produce. Start by composting your food waste or garden waste instead of dumping it.
2:If composting sounds like too much work, send your organic waste to a recycling facility instead of dumping it in landfills.
3: keep your area clean, its our duty to keep our area neat and clean because cleanliness is a half battle.
4: Aware people to Use dustbin or plastic drums in public places
5: Aware those to avoid the use of plastic bags, cans instead of this use the polythene bags
6: Give awareness about reduce, recycle and reuse. Recycling is a best option to solve the problem of waste disposal.
